Terms

These cover using KorteKo to book court time. Using the site means you accept them.

What KorteKo is

KorteKo is a booking platform. The courts belong to venues, and the venues run them — they set their own hours, prices, capacity and house rules, and they decide who plays. We take the booking and pass it on. We are not the venue and we do not run the games.

Your account

You need an account to see venues and to book. Keep your email address current — it is how we confirm bookings and how we reach you if a session is cancelled. Do not let somebody else use your account.

Bookings, confirming, and losing a slot

A booking is confirmed as soon as you make it. It is not a request and nobody at the venue has to approve it.

About three hours before the session we ask you to confirm you are coming. If you have not confirmed roughly ninety minutes before the start, your slot is released and someone else can take it. This is how a court that somebody is not going to use gets back to somebody who will.

You can cancel any time from My bookings. There is no cutoff and we charge no penalty. A venue may have its own rules about late cancellation — those are between you and the venue.

A venue can cancel a session — weather, maintenance, or too few players. We will tell you by email when that happens.

Paying

Prices are set by the venue, not by us. You either pay at the door on the day, or the venue asks you to pay before you play. Either way the money goes to the venue and never passes through KorteKo.

That means refunds are the venue's to give, and any dispute about a payment is between you and them. We can show what was booked and what was recorded as paid, and we will, but we cannot return money we never held.

Behaving

Turn up when you have booked, or cancel so somebody else can play. Do not book slots you do not intend to use, do not book on somebody else's behalf without telling us who is actually coming, and follow the venue's rules while you are there.

We can suspend an account that repeatedly no-shows, abuses staff or other players, or tries to interfere with the service.

What we do not promise

We work to keep KorteKo running, but we do not promise it is available without interruption or free of faults. We are not responsible for the condition of a court, the conduct of a venue or of other players, or injury while playing.

Nothing here limits any right you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Closing your account

Close it any time — see deleting your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Bookings already made are cancelled, and anything you owe a venue you still owe.

Changes and governing law

If we change these, the date at the top changes, and we will tell account holders by email if the change is significant. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
